It is not always clear what God is telling us. Sometimes, we need a little help with interpretation, and of course we don’t have all the answers. If we did, we would be equal to God. First and foremost, listening to what the Holy Spirit is telling you, praying and meditation upon your questions or misunderstandings should be first, and becoming familiar in His word, and meditating on His word should coincide with prayer, but additionally, we can reach out to others who may know more about a topic then we do, and reaching out to these people while using discernment and falling back on scripture is an additional resource we can use to help guide us to where we need to go. You wouldn’t go to church, and ignore the Pastor’s preaching, because it doesn’t seem to come directly from God, but yet the Pastor has been anointed to help shepherd the flock in the right direction. Using resources over the internet, books, audio, ect. is a similar idea.
But how do we know we are not being taken advantage of by false teachers? I have provided a list of resources I have found to be Biblically accurate, and aligned with Scripture. I have provided these resources below for daily help and devotionals, Pastors and sermons on various topics, and websites where you can ask questions or read up on similar questions other people may have asked. You are not alone, we can all be confused. But knowing how to seek God along with fellowship and Biblically accurate information is always a good start….
